The Far Eastern Concession Program in 2025: Focus on the economic efficiency of projects and reducing the burden on the budget

The Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC) held its annual meeting to summarize the implementation of the Far Eastern Concession program. The meeting was chaired by Alexey Tokar, FEDC's Executive Director for Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Projects. Representatives of regional government bodies and development institutions from the Far Eastern Federal District participated in the event.

Alexey Tokar noted that the "Far Eastern Concession" remains a key tool for implementing master plans for 25 cities in the macro region. Between 2022 and 2025, the Presidium of the Government Commission for the Socioeconomic Development of the Far East approved the creation of 32 infrastructure facilities in 10 regions of the Far Eastern Federal District. The total cost of these facilities is 136 billion rubles. These facilities will benefit approximately 3.2 million residents of the Far East. Currently, 27 facilities are under construction. The majority of these facilities are expected to be completed in 2026-2027.
