The application deadline for the III Far Eastern Film Awards has been extended until September 10

Authors of films about the Far East and those filmed in the Far Eastern Federal District and the Arctic will be able to submit applications for one of the key industry awards until September 10, 2026.

The award invites creators of feature-length films, documentaries, animations, and serials created in the Far Eastern Federal District or the Arctic Zone of the Russian Federation. The award brings together representatives of the film industry, creative businesses, government agencies, development institutions, and the expert community. The business program focuses on the development of the modern film industry as a component of the creative economy, the promotion of the Far East and the Arctic through film and audiovisual content, and the development of professional cooperation within the industry.

The awards ceremony and main events will take place from September 30 to October 2 in Khabarovsk. The Far Eastern Film Awards were established by order of the President of the Russian Federation and have been held since 2024 with the support of the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East, the Ministry of Culture, and the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC).
