The Ministry for the Development of the Far East and Arctic will soon establish personalized scholarships for school graduates from all regions of Russia who have received 100 points in one or more Unified State Exam subjects or are winners and prize-winners of All-Russian Olympiads and have entered universities in the Far East. This initiative was discussed today at the President’s meeting with program participants who chose to work in the Far East. Each undergraduate or specialist student will receive 30 thousand rubles monthly from the 1st year until completion of their studies. The only condition is successful passing of the exams. According to the head of the Ministry of Eastern Development, the scholarship was established in order to attract the best school graduates from all over Russia to the Far East.
