The government has expanded the boundaries of Advanced Special Economic Zones (ASEZ) in the Far East
Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed Decrees on expanding the boundaries of ASEZ “Kamchatka”, ASEZ “Nikolaevsk” in the Khabarovsk Region, ASEZ “Svobodny” in the Amur Region and ASEZ “Transbaikalie”. This will create conditions for launching new investment projects.
The implementation of these projects in Kamchatka will attract almost 22 billion rubles of private investment to the region and create more than 1.3 thousand new jobs.
In "Nikolaevsk" the investor is going to invest more than 140 million rubles in the modernization of the seaport in the village of Okhotsk, and in "Svobodny" it is planned to build a complex for liquefying natural gas. The volume of investments in this project will amount to more than 1.1 billion rubles.
Investments in the construction of a new microdistrict in Chita are estimated at 36.2 billion rubles. The final parameters of the project will become known after the competitive selection of the developer company, which will receive the status of a resident of the Advanced Special Economic Zone "Transbaikalie".
