The «Chukotsakh» company, a new resident of the «Chukotka» ASEZ, plans to build a modern fish processing plant on the territory of the «Anadyr» industrial park under an agreement with the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic. The new enterprise will be seasonal and primarily focused on the period from July to September, when the salmon fishing season is in Chukotka. Traditionally, it is the Anadyr region that opens the start of the Pacific salmon fishery. The investment project worth 20 million rubles will provide employment for 35 local residents.
