The first housing certificates were received by compatriots who moved from abroad to the Far East
The regions of the Russian Far East are the territory of priority accommodation of compatriots from abroad under the State Resettlement Program. Special support measures are provided for migrants: the payment of significant lifting allowances (up to 10 minimum subsistence levels) and the provision of a housing certificate. One of the first to receive a housing certificate was the Malik family, who moved to Khabarovsk from Kazakhstan in 2021. A total of 264 housing certificates for 700 people will be issued.
The amount of the housing subsidy (in the form
of a housing certificate) is set differentially depending on the specific region
and the standard, which is equal to 6 square meters of the total living area
for each migrant. Since the beginning of the implementation of the State
Resettlement Program, more than 65 thousand people have moved to the Far
Eastern Federal District.
