Moscow hosted the first in-person selection stage for participants in the «Arctic Challenge» program, a project initiated by the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic and the Agency for Strategic Initiatives with the support of the Russian Ministry for the Development of the Far East. The first 100 candidates for leadership positions in the Arctic zone gathered for an in-person selection and offered their vision of solving the real problems that the territory faces in 9 areas: urban planning and housing and communal services; Mass media and information technologies; economics and Management; medicine and health care; education and culture; nature management and ecology; tourism and sports; energy and industry; social sphere.
