On July 4, a round table will be held on the topic “Modernization of inefficient diesel, fuel oil and coal generation in remote and isolated areas of the Far North: problems and solutions.” The event is organized by the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic (FEDC), the Federation Council Committee on Federal Structure, Regional Policy, Local Government and Northern Affairs, the Institute of Public Service and Management of the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation (hereinafter referred to as IPSM Presidential Academy ). Within the framework of the round table, it is planned to substantively discuss the initiative of the FEDC and the ANO “EnergyNet Center” to create a “technological fund” (project center) for the development of local engineering infrastructure and form a coordinated position of the expert community on its further support and implementation. Representatives of federal and regional authorities, energy companies, investors in distributed energy and scientific organizations are invited to participate. The event will take place on July 4, 2024 from 10.00 to 12.00 at the Presidential Academy at Moscow, Vernadskogo Ave., 84, building 5, Academic Council Hall.
