Prospects for the development of wooden housing construction in the Far Eastern Federal District were discussed at the FEDC round table in preparation for the EEF 2023.

The Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic (FEDC) held a discussion of topical issues of the development of wooden housing construction in the Far Eastern Federal District. The round table was held in preparation for the Eastern Economic Forum 2023. It brought together representatives of the construction and forestry industries, the banking sector, regional authorities, specialists in the field of regional tourism, and experts from development institutions. The participants of the round table discussed the main trends in the production of wooden house kits in the region, considered issues of increasing the volume and quality of wooden house building, noted the importance of state support measures, as well as establishing links between enterprises in the wooden house building market, JSC "FEDC", regional executive authorities and final consumers. Based on the results of the round table, proposals were formed for the development of wooden housing construction in the Far East for further consideration during the profile sessions of the VIII Eastern Economic Forum, which will be held from September 10 to 13 on the campus of the Far Eastern Federal University in Vladivostok.
