A list of recommendations for the development and implementation of master plans for Russian cities was formed taking into account the Far Eastern experience

An expert session was held in Moscow to discuss issues of effective master planning in Russian cities. The recommendations formulated during the discussions will be taken into account when preparing proposals for amending the legislation of the Russian Federation to fulfill the instructions of the President of the Russian Federation on the normative consolidation and composition of the content of master plans. On behalf of the President of Russia, the Ministry of Construction of Russia, with the participation of VEB.RF, DOM.RF, and other interested organizations, will have to develop and approve unified requirements for the structure and content of master plans for urban development and ensure the integration of master plans for urban development into the legislation of the Russian Federation on urban development activities .
