This autumn the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC) and tour operators will offer a unique route to travel lovers. Tourists will be able to visit the Kuril Islands and Sakhalin, visit Vladivostok and Kamchatka, the Khabarovsk and the Amur Regions. They will travel the entire route by train, plane and boat. The new tour “From Beijing to Heihe – through the Russian Far East” is already on sale. “We developed this route with the support of the Russian Ministry of Eastern Development on behalf of the Deputy Prime Minister - Presidential Plenipotentiary Representative in the Far Eastern Federal District Yuri Trutnev in partnership with the Far Eastern Branch of the Russian Union of Tourism Industry. We want as many people as possible, both here in Russia and in friendly countries, to be able to get acquainted with our unique regions. We presented this route during the “Word of the Russian Heart” festival, which took place in Beijing, and the first participants in the promotional tour will be 20 representatives of the Chinese media and blogosphere. The unified Far Eastern airline “Aurora” has resumed direct flights between the cities of the Far East and China and offered favorable flight rates,” said Maria Badmatsyrenova, deputy director of the investment department of the FEDC.
