The specifics of entering Asian markets were discussed at the International Forum of Creative Industries

The export of creative products and entry into Asian markets were discussed at the International Forum of Creative Industries "Created in the Far East," held in Ulan-Ude from May 21 to 23. The event is organized by the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East, the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC), and the Government of the Republic of Buryatia. The session was moderated by Ekaterina Kondakova, Head of Services Export Project at Russian Export Center.

She cited statistics on the contribution of creative industries to national gross domestic product. In Russia, it currently stands at approximately $90 billion, while China's creative industries market is valued at $1.5 trillion, and Japan's at $140 billion.
