Organizers of major international music festivals discussed cooperation with the Far East at a forum in Ulan-Ude

Music, sound design, and event projects as tools for shaping territorial identity and economic development were discussed at the International Forum of Creative Industries "Created in the Far East: From Content to Capital," which is taking place in Ulan-Ude from May 21 to 23. The forum is organized by the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East, the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation, and the Government of the Republic of Buryatia.

One of the forum's thematic platforms was the session "Soundtrack of the Far East: Music and Sound Design as Regional Identity." Experts discussed how music projects, festivals, and local cultural codes influence tourism development, regional promotion, and the formation of new economic models.

Guests from China, Mongolia, and Kazakhstan presented the session's international agenda. Experts discussed the development of music markets in Asian countries, mechanisms for promoting local artists, and the role of festivals in supporting national culture.

Following the discussion, participants proposed creating a permanent showcase platform within the forum to promote musical projects from the Far East and the Arctic in the Russian and international markets.
