The official website of the International Arctic Forum (IAF) "Arctic: Territory of Dialogue" has published a full business program with session participants. IAF-2025 will be held in Murmansk on March 26–27. The organizer is the “Roscongress” Foundation with the support of the Russian Government.
The Forum's business program includes about 20 sessions, divided into four thematic blocks: "The Arctic and the NSR: how to win in the competitive struggle of global routes", "The Arctic and the NSR: a pole for attracting investment", "The Arctic and the NSR: development of key settlements", "International cooperation and ecology".
As part of the thematic block “The Arctic and the NSR: How to Win in the Competition of World Routes,” experts will discuss the prospects for the development of the Northern Sea Route, its impact on the development of technologies, vectors of international cooperation for the modernization of the route, and the formation of a new economic model for the NSR. The thematic sessions will be attended by the Minister of the Russian Federation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic Alexey Chekunkov; Advisor to the President of the Russian Federation, Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for International Cooperation in Transport, Deputy Chairman of the Maritime Collegium of the Russian Federation Igor Levitin; General Director of the State Atomic Energy Corporation “Rosatom” Alexey Likhachev; Governor of the Arkhangelsk Region Alexander Tsybulsky, General Director of the China Freight Forwarding Company Ke Jin, representatives of the legislative branch and the expert community.
The track “The Arctic and the NSR: a pole for attracting investment” includes a discussion of the current impact of preferential regimes on business development and prospects for developing support mechanisms, creating an infrastructure base for implementing large investment projects, as well as building sustainable interaction between entrepreneurship, the state and cultural institutions to ensure the growth of unique brands of the North. The event will be attended by Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office of the Russian Federation Maxim Oreshkin; General Director of JSC Far East and Arctic Development Corporation Nikolai Zapryagaev; Chairman of the Management Board, Member of the Board of Directors of PJSC “NOVATEK” Leonid Mikhelson; Governor of the Murmansk Region Andrey Chibis; Head of the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug Vladislav Kuznetsov; Head of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) Aisen Nikolaev, as well as representatives of specialized associations and businesses.
