The official website has published the business program of the International Arctic Forum "Arctic: Territory of Dialogue" (IAF), which will be held on March 26-27 in Murmansk under the motto "Live in the North!" The organizer of the Forum is the “Roscongress” Foundation with the support of the Government of the Russian Federation.
The business program of the MAF-2025 includes about 20 thematic sessions, divided into four blocks: “The Arctic and the NSR: how to win in the competitive struggle of world routes”, “The Arctic and the NSR: a pole for attracting investments”, “The Arctic and the NSR: development of key settlements”, “International cooperation and ecology”.
One of the central blocks will be "The Arctic and the NSR: How to Win in the Competition of World Routes." Participants will assess the current state of the Northern Sea Route and determine the strategic prospects of the Arctic in global logistics. In particular, experts will analyze the prospects for the development of the icebreaker fleet, port infrastructure, the opening of new trade links, ensuring the operation of the route regardless of the season, the growth of related economic sectors and other issues.
The International Cooperation and Ecology track will bring together experts to discuss current issues of interaction between countries, as well as the role of business and government in solving humanitarian and environmental problems. Particular focus will be on scientific research, including monitoring geotechnical processes and developing measures to adapt to permafrost melting.
