The list of instructions of the President of the Russian Federation, approved following the results of the Eastern Economic Forum – 2024, has been published

Russian President Vladimir Putin approved a list of instructions following the Eastern Economic Forum 2024, which was held in Vladivostok on September 3-6. The documents outline key areas of support for the Far Eastern region to achieve national development goals and strengthen Russia’s position in the Asia-Pacific region. The instructions of the head of state following the EEF are aimed at implementing infrastructure projects in the region, including within the framework of international cooperation, creating comfortable living conditions in the region within the framework of implementing programs in the social and cultural spheres, as well as expanding and modernizing the scientific and technological base, and developing international tourism. "The Eastern Economic Forum is one of the instruments for the development of the Far East. The Forum raises the most pressing issues of the social sphere, economy, and investment attraction. The instructions of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin following the EEF will give a new impetus to strengthening the macro-region. They will help to accelerate the implementation of master plans and the renovation of cities, improve the standard of living of Far Easterners and strengthen international cooperation with friendly countries,” emphasized Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation - Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Far Eastern Federal District Yuri Trutnev. Key instructions include accelerating the development of transport infrastructure, including measures to increase container rail transport in the direction of Central Russia and air transportation within the Far Eastern Federal District, expanding the use of helicopters and small aircraft, and creating conditions for attracting private investment in this sector.
