Protected natural areas of the Far East and the Arctic will receive an additional 232 million rubles this year

The situation in the tourism industry in the Far East and the Arctic was discussed at the meeting chaired by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation - Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Far Eastern Federal District Yuri Trutnev and First Deputy Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation Anatoly Razinkin. As part of the “Tourism and Hospitality Industry” national project, this year the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia will bring additional funding to the Far Eastern and Arctic protected areas, which the President of Russia instructed to provide. Parks and preserve areas of the Far East will receive 200 million rubles, and the Arctic territories - 32 million rubles. The following year, these amounts will multiply. With this money, 5 visitor centers, 11 hotels, 6 sanitary zones, and several tens of kilometers of ecological trails will be opened.
