At the direction of the President of Russia, the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East, in collaboration with government agencies, regions, and businesses, is developing a Comprehensive Project for the Development of the Arctic Zone of the Russian Federation and the Trans-Arctic Transport Corridor (TTC). This document will serve as the primary instrument for implementing the Strategy for the Development of the Arctic Zone of the Russian Federation and ensuring national security in the Arctic. It will bring together interrelated investment and innovation projects, implemented primarily through private investment and public-private partnerships. According to the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East, the gross regional product of the Russian Arctic zone could double: from 14 trillion rubles in 2026 to 28 trillion rubles by 2035.
