A competition was announced to select a developer for the construction of the “Far Eastern Quarter” in Korsakov on Sakhalin
Members of the Supervisory Board of the “Yuzhnaya” ASEZ, chaired by the First Deputy Ministry of the Russian Federation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic, Gadzhimagomed Huseynov, with the participation of representatives of the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic (FEDC), the government of the Sakhalin Region, federal and regional authorities, approved the rules for the competitive selection of developers, who will be able to participate in the implementation of the “Far Eastern Quarter” program in the city of Korsakov.
77 hectares have been allocated for complex residential development within the Korsakov area. Until 2046, more than 460 thousand square meters of housing will be built here in stages, of which the developer will have to provide at least 20% of the total area of apartments for redemption for social needs. Complex development should include social infrastructure. The first floors of residential buildings will be occupied by commercial premises - shops, cafes, pharmacies and consumer services. Commissioning of the first stage of construction - in the amount of 17.5 thousand square meters - should take place in December 2026.
