The enterprise of the SPV resident ensuring food security is connected to natural gas in Primorye

The boiler house of the feed mill of the “AgroPtitsa” poultry farm was connected to natural gas by “Gazprom Gas Distribution Far East” JSC. “AgroPtitsa”, as a resident of the Free Port of Vladivostok (FPV), launched the production of chilled and frozen chicken meat in the city of Artem in Primorsky Region in 2020. 1.6 thousand tons of products are produced per month. The use of gas fuel will allow the FPV resident to reduce the costs of organizing the technological process and increase production efficiency. Under an agreement with the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC), the FPV resident invested 367 million rubles in the construction of the poultry farm, creating 893 jobs for local residents. Total investments in the project exceeded 1.2 billion rubles. To gasify the facility, a distribution gas pipeline of approximately 3.2 km in length was laid, and technological connection to the existing gas networks was made. The supplier of natural gas is “Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Dalniy Vostok” LLC. The enterprise is the main producer of poultry meat in the region and sells its products in the Primorsky Region, as well as other regions of the Far East. The feed mill, which is part of the production complex, produces feed, premixes and protein-vitamin mineral concentrates for poultry nutrition. The design capacity of the complex is 25 thousand tons of product per year. Natural gas is planned to be used in the technological process to generate steam.
