Information about tourism in the Far East and the Arctic will be posted on the website of the Russian travel service "Tutu"
The Ministry of the Russian Federation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic and the “Tutu” travel service, represented by the “New Tourist Technologies” Company, signed a cooperation agreement. To support the development of tourism in the macro-region, the “Tutu” service will prepare a website where anyone can see how popular the regions of the Far East and the Arctic are; evaluate the dynamics of their development, read about sights and interesting events. The Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East will help collect data on the tourism industry of the Far Eastern Federal District and the Russian Arctic, and will assist in working with representatives of regional authorities and the business community.
According to the Corporation for the Development
of the Far East and the Arctic (FEDC), today residents of the Advanced
Development Territories and the Free Port of Vladivostok are implementing more
than 310 tourism projects that have received state support. The total volume of
planned investments in this segment is 157 billion rubles, it is planned to
create 13.7 thousand jobs. More than a hundred tourist projects worth 37.4
billion rubles are being implemented by residents of the Arctic zone (AZRF).
Their launch will make it possible to employ 2,000 local residents in the
hospitality industry.
