At a seminar at the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation, a discussion was held on how to attract business to the development of public spaces

The Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East, together with the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC) and federal experts, held an educational seminar, "Attracting Business to the Development of Public Spaces," for municipalities in the Far Eastern Federal District to help them prepare applications for the All-Russian Competition for the Best Urban Environment Designs. In addition to investor attraction tools, the seminar demonstrated how integrating business into improvement projects can create high-quality and sought-after public spaces.

"The seminars help attract municipal teams to participate in the competition and provide the opportunity, under the guidance of experienced experts, to transform ideas into high-quality, well-developed, and creative applications. This time, the key topic of the event was finding entry points for businesses into urban development projects. Leading experts, including the CEO of the “Siberian Urban Laboratory”, shared practical knowledge with the participants. The company won the 2nd Competition for the Best Projects to Create a Comfortable Urban Environment for the Regions of the Far East, and in 2026, it successfully implemented the Cultural Park project in Neryungri, Sakha Republic (Yakutia). "The winners' experience is the best guide for those seeking to transform their cities," commented Gasan Gasanbalaev, Deputy General Director for Social Development at the FEDC.

Gasan Gasanbalaev also recalled that a directory of small architectural forms (SAF) manufacturers and plant nurseries has been prepared for municipalities, regional competence centers, and government bodies in the Far Eastern Federal District. This tool helps simplify the process of attracting contractors for landscaping programs and support small and medium-sized businesses in the region, including individual entrepreneurs working in landscape design.
