The Supervisory Board of the Chukotka ASEZ, chaired by the Governor - Chairman of the Government of the Chukotka Autonomous Region Roman Kopin, approved a plan for the development of this special economic zone until 2035. The plan for the long-term development of the Chukotka ASEZ was developed by order of the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic (FEDC). The plan considers the peculiarities of the region - the harsh climate, a very short navigation period, complex logistics, the lack of the Internet (only satellite communications), which affect the timing and efficiency of the implementation of any project in such conditions.
