A new resident of the “Zabaikalye” ASEZ will launch production of wear-resistant materials for industry in 2027

“VZIM”, a new resident of the “Zabaikalye” ASEZ, will build a workshop to produce grinding balls and other metal products for regional businesses. The project is being implemented within the “StroyProm” industrial park. Under the agreement with the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC), the investment totals 27.5 million rubles, creating 27 new jobs.

"The project will involve the production of high-strength grinding balls with diameters ranging from 15 to 125 mm. They are manufactured using a casting method. These products are primarily used in ball mills in the mining, coal, cement, and other industries. Furthermore, we plan to manufacture custom metal products, including knives and hammers for crushers and grinders, tailored to specific shape and mounting requirements, as well as excavator bucket teeth, which are manufactured to the precise dimensions and shape of the customer's equipment to protect against wear from rock, gravel, and sand," noted Airat Uldanov, Director of VZIM LLC.

"The implementation of this investment project will create a modern production complex in Chita that will meet the needs of the region's industrial enterprises for high-quality, wear-resistant products. This will not only boost the development of related industries but also have a positive impact on the region's economy by creating new jobs and increasing tax revenues at all levels," commented Dina Arkhipenko, Director of the FEDC “Transbaikalia”.
