The “ISTOCHNIK” company, as a resident of the “Transbaikalia” ASEZ, will open a sports and recreation complex designed for up to 200 people at a time. The project will include swimming pools, including an outdoor thermal pool and a children's pool, 5 bath complexes, a gym, a cafe, a spa complex and massage rooms. According to an agreement with the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC), more than 100 million rubles will be invested in the project, creating 16 jobs.
The project implementation became possible thanks to the support of the FEDC. The company will receive the necessary land plot at a reduced rent, as well as other tax benefits and administrative preferences. The status of a resident of the priority development area became an important factor in the profitability of the project.
"Thanks to the support measures in the preferential regime, favorable conditions have been created in the region for the qualitative and quantitative development of tourism infrastructure. In the Zabaikalsky Region, the hospitality industry is represented by three projects of the priority development area residents. The sanatorium-resort, hotel and sports and recreation complexes are at different stages of implementation. Each resident receives comprehensive support from the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation, including establishing cooperation links with other residents of the priority development area and the Free Port of Vladivostok, assistance in choosing a site for the project, information and marketing support," commented Dina Arkhipenko, Director of the FEDC “Zabaikalie”.
