A new resident of the “Transbaikal” ASEZ will build a temporary storage warehouse on the border with China.

A temporary storage warehouse will be built near the border crossing with China. The project is being implemented by “Marsco” company, a resident of the “Transbaikal” ASEZ in the village of Starotsurukhaituy. A customs control zone—a specially equipped area with platforms, premises, and parking—is also planned. Under an agreement with the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation, the investment volume is 146.9 million rubles, creating 19 new jobs. The facility is scheduled to open and begin operations in the first quarter of 2029.

"Our project isn't just a warehouse construction; it's the creation of a vital infrastructure link for growing trade with China. We see enormous potential in this location, and the preferences offered by the “Transbaikal” ASEZ provide us with the necessary tools for project implementation. Key aspects include the facility's infrastructure support, as well as income and property tax benefits. This will allow us to commission the facility more quickly and reinvest funds in the purchase of state-of-the-art equipment for cargo inspection and processing, ensuring our clients receive the highest quality service," noted Daria Matafonova, CEO of “Marsco”.
