The new resident of the Mikhailovsky ASEZ will build the largest in the Far East “dry port” for accelerated processing of container trains.
The “FinInvest” company (part of the Group of Companies, which is a transport and logistics holding company specializing in organizing international multimodal container transportation) by the end of 2027 will build the largest “dry port” in the Far East to service export-import and domestic Russian cargo flows. Under an agreement with the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC), the volume of investments in the project, which will be implemented as a resident of the “Mikhailovsky” ASEZ, will exceed 13.5 billion rubles. As a result of its implementation, about 560 residents of the Primorsky Region will get jobs.
The transport and logistics center will be located on the territory of the Artyomovsky urban district (Primorsky Region) and will consist of railway, terminal, warehouse and customs infrastructure. Container cargo arriving by rail and road from the ports of Primorye will be stored here, transshipment will be carried out and container trains will be formed to the regions of Siberia, the Urals and the European part of Russia. The supplier of imported goods will be Southeast Asia, mainly China. The design capacity of the high-tech complex is 1 million TEU per year.
