The new resident of the Khabarovsk ASEZ will build a tin production complex with a capacity of 5.5 thousand tons per year

“Amur Metallurgical Plant” LLC (the parent company of AMK LLC is PJSC “Rusolovo”, part of the “Seligdar” Holding) received the status of a resident of the Khabarovsk ASEZ. Under an agreement with the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC), the new resident of the ASEZ will invest 8.6 billion rubles in the construction of a production complex in the city of Amursk for processing tin concentrates to produce grade (metal) tin. 200 residents of the Khabarovsk Region will receive work at the enterprise. Commissioning of the facility is scheduled for 2027; it will become the first metallurgical plant in Russia to produce metal tin since 1942. The planned capacity of the metallurgical plant will be 5.5 thousand tons of tin per year. “The implementation of the project is of unprecedented importance for ensuring the technological sovereignty of the Russian Federation. The Khabarovsk Region produces most of the all-Russian volume of this metal, according to recent estimates - more than 90%. The construction of the plant will make it possible to close the tin production cycle in the region and fully meet the need for the strategic metal in various areas of Russian industry,” said Viktor Kalashnikov, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Khabarovsk Region and Minister of Economic Development of the region.
