The new resident of the “Kamchatka” ASEZ will develop a recreational area in the Fishing Port of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky
The company "SEA HARBOR", under an agreement with the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic (FEDC) as a resident of the "Kamchatka" ASEZ, is investing over 1.6 billion rubles in the comprehensive development of the territory of the Fishing Port in the historical center of Petropavlovsk- Kamchatsky for the creation of an extensive recreational area, business, public and social facilities, and landscaping of the territory. The investment project will be implemented within the framework of the plan for the socio-economic development of the capital of Kamchatka, developed together with plans for the development of other cities and agglomerations of the Far East on behalf of the President of the Russian Federation. The first facilities are planned to be commissioned in 2026.
The total area of the recreational zone is over 2.7 thousand hectares, while more than 22 thousand square meters will be allocated for landscaping. As part of the step-by-step implementation of the project, three two-story administrative buildings are planned to be commissioned in 2026, and two more buildings will be commissioned in 2027. Also in 2027, a one-story restaurant building will be built and a landscape park will open. The first stage of a nine-story apart-hotel with 133 rooms will begin operating in 2028, and the second stage of an apart-hotel with the same parameters will be opened in 2029. The landscaping of the entire territory and the construction of passages will be fully completed by the end of 2030.
