“Lugiinskoye” Mining Company will create a mining enterprise in the “Transbaikal” ASEZ to develop gold from deposits in the Gazimuro-Zavodsky district of the Transbaikal region. The new ASEZ resident plans to start construction of the mining and processing plant in the first quarter of 2025. In total, it is planned to extract and process more than 25 million tons of ore at the site, obtaining more than 40 tons of gold. Under an agreement with the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic (FEDC), the minimum investment in the project will amount to 3.4 billion rubles, and at least 300 additional jobs will be created in the Trans-Baikal Territory.
