A new resident of the “Amurskaya” ASEZ will build a soybean processing plant with a capacity of about 85 thousand tons per year

The Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic (FEDC) and the “Voskhod” company signed an agreement on investment activities at the “Amurskaya” ASEZ with the aim of building a soybean processing plant with a capacity of about 85 thousand tons per year. The volume of investments in the implementation of the project will amount to 208 million rubles. The signing took place as part of the business program of the Russian-Chinese Economic Forum “AmurExpo 2023” in the presence of Alexei Chekunkov, Minister for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic, and Vasily Orlov, Governor of the Amur Region. “Agriculture is one of the priority sectors for Far Eastern investors who implement projects with the help of state support. We are interested in having as many projects as possible aimed at processing local agricultural products and conquering foreign markets. For our part, we are ready to help investors, provide projects with land, infrastructure, capital and everything necessary, offer new mechanisms and systemic support measures,” said the head of the Russian Ministry for the Development of the Far East.
