New resident of the Free Port of Vladivostok will start delivering enriched coal to Primorye and China in 2025
Under an agreement with the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC), the “Coal Processing Factory of the Zapadny Open Pit”, a resident of the Free Port of Vladivostok (FPV), will build a processing complex on the territory of the Ilyichevskoye coal deposit in the Oktyabrsky District of Primorsky Krai. Coal enrichment will increase its heat output, reduce impurity content and minimize emissions during combustion. Modern technology will make raw materials more efficient and safe for use in energy and other industries. The production capacity will be 924 thousand tons per year. The volume of investments under the agreement is 43.8 million rubles, 169 jobs will be created.

The most convenient conditions have been created for investors, including the Free Port regime. Residents of the FPV have access to reduced insurance premiums of up to 7.6% for 10 years, zero taxes on property and profit for the first 5 years, on land for the first 3 years, the use of the free customs zone procedure and other preferences."
