A new FPV resident is setting up a power transformer repair shop in Primorye

The “Repair and Installation Center” (“RIC” LLC), which has received the status of a resident of the Free Port of Vladivostok (FPV), has begun implementing a project for the major repair and maintenance of power transformers with a capacity of up to 1250 kVA. The company will locate its production facility in Artem, Primorsky Region, where it will perform a full cycle of restoration work—from washing and drying to diagnostics and oil regeneration. The FPV resident plans to begin providing services in the third quarter of 2026. The investment volume under the agreement with the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC) is 2.3 million rubles.

“Our project is focused on import substitution in the critical infrastructure maintenance sector. Obtaining resident status at the Free Port of Vladivostok will allow us to expedite the launch of production and focus on equipping the workshop with technological equipment. Modern equipment will enable us to perform the entire range of transformer restoration work to a high standard, reducing local companies' dependence on contractors from other regions. The workshop's design capacity will be up to seven overhauled transformers per month, which will allow it to provide services to a wide range of industrial and energy companies in the region," commented Andrey Borovsky, CEO of “RIC” LLC.
