A new resident of the Sakhalin ASEZ “Mountain Air” will build a hotel complex with 235 rooms
The “Gamma” company will build a modern hotel in the priority development area “Mountain Air” on the middle site of the ski resort “Mountain Air”. The hotel will also be equipped for tourists with disabilities, including Paralympic athletes. Commissioning of the complex is scheduled for the 4th quarter of 2027. Under an agreement with the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC), the investor will invest 2.3 billion rubles, creating 62 jobs.
“The eight-story hotel complex will have 235 rooms of various categories, parking lot for 322 cars, a restaurant serving Russian and European cuisine, and a conference hall for 800 people. “Gamma” will begin operation in the fourth quarter of 2027 and will be able to accommodate and provide hot meals in the restaurant for tourists, athletes and vacationers of the “Mountain Air” ski resort coming to the island both in winter and in summer,” said the General Director of "Gamma" LLC Lee Ok Geum.
The “Mountain Air” ASEZ was created in the resort area of the Sakhalin Region. Under agreements with the FEDC, 31 projects are being implemented there. Residents have already made investments worth 17.2 billion rubles, created more than 1,132 jobs, and implemented seven projects.
