The new passenger terminal of Blagoveshchensk International Airport served regular passenger flights for the first time

On December 31, 2025, the new passenger terminal at Blagoveshchensk International Airport (Ignatievo) named after N.N. Muravyov-Amursky served its first regular flights in test mode. These were flight FV-2461 on the Vladivostok-Blagoveshchensk route and FV-2475 on the Blagoveshchensk-Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk route. The test service for regular flights is an important step in the airport's preparation for the transfer of its entire schedule to the new terminal complex.

At 8:10 AM, the Superjet 100 landed at Blagoveshchensk Airport. For the first time in the airport's history, its passengers were served via jet bridges. The new airport complex is equipped with four jet bridges. The terminal covers over 25,000 square meters and has a capacity of 1,000 passengers per hour. The terminal has 23 check-in counters, eight of which are self-service check-in counters. Baggage claim is available on three belts.

On its first day of operation, the new terminal handled approximately 200 passengers, setting a new annual passenger traffic record. By the end of 2025, Blagoveshchensk Airport will have handled over 1 million passengers for the first time in its history.
