A new sports complex under the program "50 modular sports halls in schools of the Far Eastern Federal District" was opened in Ussuriysk

A new sports hall was ceremoniously opened in Ussuriysk Secondary School No. 6. It was built using funds from the Unified Presidential Subsidy on the instructions of the Far Eastern Federal District Plenipotentiary Representative Yuri Trutnev and with the assistance of the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East as part of the program "50 Modular Sports Halls in Far Eastern Federal District Schools". They are equipped with the necessary facilities for practicing various sports. The guests of honor at the opening ceremony of the new gym were the Governor of Primorsky Region Oleg Kozhemyako, the head of the Ussuriysk urban district (UUD) Evgeny Korzh, the Minister of Physical Culture and Sports of Primorsky Region Zhan Kuznetsov, the head of the Department of Education and Youth Policy of the UUD administration Irina Nizhnik, as well as the initiator of the project, three-time world champion in “Kyokushinkai” karate Khaid Mantayev.
