New residents of the “Transbaikalia” ASEZ will invest more than 3 billion rubles and employ more than 500 local specialists
The mining enterprises “Zemtek Drilling and Blasting Udokan” and “Zemtek Open Mining Udokan”, as residents of the priority development territory (ASEZ) "Transbaikalia", are implementing two projects on the territory of the Udokan deposit under an agreement with the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC). “Zemtek” specialists will carry out a complex of drilling and blasting operations, as well as provide services for excavation and transportation of rock mass. The volume of investments will amount to more than 3 billion rubles; jobs will be created at the new enterprises for more than 500 specialists, primarily for residents of Transbaikalia.
The companies will work at the Zapadny quarry near the village of Udokan in the Trans-Baikal Region, one of the world's largest copper deposits, with a capacity of 26.7 million tons.
