A new point of attraction for tourists on Lake Baikal will be created by a resident of the ASEZ "Buryatia"
A new resident of the "Buryatia» ASEZ - TOR "Cape Captains" LLC intends to implement an investment project for the development of tourism infrastructure on the southern side of Lake Baikal. The project will form a circular route through the popular recreation areas of the existing Ecopark along the Snezhnaya River in South Baikal. The commissioning of all objects of the new tourist location is scheduled for spring 2027. The volume of private investments under an agreement with the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic will amount to 189 million rubles; more than 40 local residents will get jobs.
Not far fr om the confluence of the Snezhnaya
River, on an area of 11.2 hectares, footpaths and trails will be laid,
glampings and tent houses, hotels with playgrounds and recreation areas, houses
with an individual landscaped area will be built. The facilities will be
located in a bay of Baikal protected from wind and waves, wh ere a water
entertainment zone will be arranged, including a pier for jet skis and a marina
for yachts and boats, rental of catamarans and saps.
