Nakhodka Marine Fishing Port (NMFP) is completing modernization and expanding cargo storage and transshipment services

JSC NMFP, as a resident of the Free Port Vladivostok (FPV), is modernizing the Nakhodka seaport. During the project's implementation, a 6,000-ton capacity cold storage facility was designed, built, and commissioned; cargo handling areas were renovated and equipped with specialized machinery; new portal cranes were acquired; and railway infrastructure, utility networks, transport security systems, and other facilities were upgraded.

The resident continues to reconstruct and modernize port infrastructure and cargo-handling equipment, while also providing transshipment and storage services for frozen and chilled products. The project is being implemented under an agreement with the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC). Investment at this stage has totaled approximately 1.5 billion rubles, and 486 jobs have been created.

"We were able to modernize existing port facilities, increase container and general cargo throughput, and expand our service offerings—including the option for long-term lease of a refrigerated facility (complete with equipment and personnel) for the handling and storage of chilled and frozen goods—thanks to our status as a Free Port of Vladivostok (FPV) resident and the comprehensive support provided by the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic. Once the investment project is fully completed and target operational levels are reached, the port’s capacity will more than double, reaching 3 million tons of cargo per year," said Denis Gladkov, General Director of NMRP JSC. с
