The Supervisory Board of the "Amuro-Khinganskaya" ASEZ approved the rules for the selection of developers for the construction of the Far Eastern quarter in Birobidzhan

A meeting of the Supervisory Board of the "Amur-Khinganskaya" ASEZ was held in Birobidzhan under the chairmanship of the Governor of the Jewish Autonomous Region Rostislav Goldstein with the participation of representatives of the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East, the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic (FEDC), federal and regional authorities.

The main issue on the agenda was the approval of tender documentation for the competitive selection of developers who will be able to participate in the implementation of the “Far Eastern Quarter” program. The program is being implemented by the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East in cooperation with the FEDC.

30 hectares have been allocated for complex residential development within the boundaries of Birobidzhan. Until 2034, more than 176,000 square meters of housing will be built gradually. The developer will have to provide at least 50 percent of the total volume for redemption for social needs. It is planned to create a social infrastructure - a school for 1,100 students and a kindergarten for 400 children. The first floors of residential buildings will be occupied by commercial premises - shops, cafes, pharmacies and consumer services.
