At EEF-2026, the FEDC signed 14 agreements in the transport and logistics infrastructure sector worth 2.5 trillion rubles

At the 11th Eastern Economic Forum, the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC) signed 14 agreements to implement transport and logistics infrastructure projects with a total investment value of 2.5 trillion rubles. These projects will see the creation of international transport corridors, deep-water ports, transport-logistics and customs terminals, as well as production-logistics and warehouse complexes. The new facilities will be located in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), Buryatia, the Zabaykalsky, Kamchatsky, Primorsky, and Khabarovsky Regions, and the Russian Arctic zone.

The development of modern transport and logistics infrastructure is a key prerequisite for the continued economic growth of the Russian Far East and the Arctic, as well as for the expansion of foreign economic ties. The agreements concluded at the Eastern Economic Forum cover the entire logistics chain—from international transport corridors and deep-water ports to cross-border transport and logistics centers, customs terminals, and production and warehousing infrastructure. These projects will increase the throughput and handling capacity of the transport system, reduce business logistics costs, enhance the resilience of freight routes, and create additional opportunities for the growth of industry and trade. The Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC) will provide investors with comprehensive support and access to established state support mechanisms," noted Kirill Kamenev, Deputy Director General for Investment Attraction at FEDC.
