The region's first production facility for impact-resistant and safety glass for transport and construction has been launched at the “Khabarovsk” ASEZ

A laminated safety glass (triplex) production facility has been commissioned at the “Rakitnoye” site in the “Khabarovsk” ASEZ. The investor, “SDV” LLC, completed construction and equipped the production line, investing 20.8 million rubles in the project under an agreement with the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC).

The plant's capacity allows it to produce up to 5,500 square meters of laminated flat glass annually for facades, fencing, reinforced windows, glass roofs, and floors, and up to 756 square meters of curved glass for buses, trams, special-purpose vehicles, and complex architectural elements. The plant has already received orders from regional transportation companies.

"Thanks to our status as a priority development area resident and effective government support, we've created a full-cycle production facility—from glass cutting to bending (molding) and thermal vacuum bonding. Our products can withstand high impact loads and, in the event of breakage, retain fragments, which is critical for safety. Preliminary agreements have already been signed with Khabarovsk passenger carriers and special equipment owners. The project is fully aligned with import substitution goals: until now, a significant portion of similar products was supplied to the region from abroad," said Mikhail Teterin, CEO of “SDV” LLC.
