At the “Amurskaya” ASEZ, an investor is implementing a project to produce packaging from polymer waste

The city of Belogorsk is planning an investment project to create a high-tech polymer waste recycling facility for tires and plastics, which will improve the environmental situation in the Amur Region. “Polymer Golden”, a resident of the “Amurskaya” ASEZ, will produce 12,500 tons of finished products annually. Under an agreement with the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC), the project will be invested in at 210.5 million rubles, creating 53 jobs.

The project envisages the possibility of using polymer products from the anchor resident of the “Amurskaya” ASEZ, the “Amur Gas Chemical Complex” (AGCC), in the production of packaging.

"Our goal is not only to establish production of in-demand packaging products but also to contribute to improving the region's environmental situation. We will recycle tires and plastic waste, producing new raw materials. Thanks to our status as a resident of the priority development area, we will be able to implement the project more quickly and offer competitive products to the market," said Zhao Mingxia, CEO of “Polymer Golden LLC”.
