This year, the competition received 567 submissions. The longlist comprised 121 entries, while the expert selection process resulted in a shortlist of 25 films; two additional works were subsequently named finalists by the expert council. For the first time, the program featured a "Best Film about the Arctic and the Far North" category, which attracted over 20 submissions. The short film category drew the highest number of entries, with debut works making up a significant portion of the lineup.
