A territory of advanced development began to operate on Russky Island
Chairman of the Government of Russia Mikhail Mishustin signed a decree on expanding the boundaries of the “Nadezhdinskaya” ASEZ to Russky Island and at the same time renaming it to the “Primorye” ASEZ. This is due to the extension of the preferential treatment to the territory, exceeding the boundaries of the Nadezhdinsky municipal district, the name of which was originally used for the name of the ASEZ.
Russky Island has become even more attractive for investors: in addition to the Special Administrative Region (SAR), the Free Port of Vladivostok (FPV) and the Russky Innovation Science and Technology Center, there is now another preferential regime – the Priority Development Territory.
There are four companies among the potential investors: OOO “KVTs” (plans to build a convention and exhibition center Russkiy); “Vostok Park Resorts” LLC (presented a project for a theme park and a resort and hotel complex); LLC "Dalstam-Marin" (will create a point of attraction for fans of eco- and gastro tourism in Voevoda Bay) and LLC "International Children's Sports Center - YURAN". The implementation of these projects will ensure the creation of about 1.7 thousand new jobs and attract at least 43 billion rubles of private investment to the region.
At present, the design of infrastructure facilities of the “Russky” INTC and the creation of a “pilot site” are underway, the launch of which is scheduled for the 3rd quarter of 2024. In addition, it is planned to design a unique “mega-science”-class scientific installation and construct a building for structural blocks and units of the “Zelenograd” synchrotron radiation source.
