A convention and exhibition center will be built on Russky Island by 2031

On the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum, the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC) and the KVC Company signed an agreement on cooperation in the implementation of the project for the construction of a convention and exhibition center on Russky Island. The development concept for Russky Island provides for the construction of a convention and exhibition center with accompanying infrastructure in an area of more than 45,000 square meters by 2031. The parties to the signing were the General Director of FEDC Nikolay Zapryagaev and the General Director of KVC LLC Alexander Kostin. The investor also plans to create a park in the coastal part of Russky Island with walking paths, sculptural compositions by Russian and foreign masters and Russian folk crafts, reflecting the uniqueness of Russian traditional culture. A landscaped recreation area, integrated into the natural landscape, will have access to the embankment. The volume of investments in the Russky convention and exhibition center in the “Primorsky Forum” architectural concept will amount to 16.7 billion rubles; as a result of the project, about 150 residents will receive jobs.
