40% more people than last year submitted applications for participation in the third stream of the “Muravyov-Amursky 2030” program.

In total, 4,586 people from all 89 regions of Russia expressed their desire to undergo training under the program. “There is a serious selection ahead with a competition of 80 people per place. We will make efforts to ensure, that the program continues to develop, attracting the most worthy (participants) and equipping them with knowledge to participate in one of the most interesting management projects of our time - the development of the Far East,” said Alexey Chekunkov, Minister for Development of the Far East and Arctic, head of the program’s mentors council "Muravyov-Amursky 2030". A total of 65 cadets will be enrolled for training. The Far East and Arctic Development Corporation is implementing the “Muravyov-Amursky 2030” program with the support of the Ministry of Eastern Development of the Russian Federation and with expert support from the Skolkovo School of Management, FEFU and ISAA MSU. The first selection was organized in 2022; the competition for participation in the program was 50 people per place. Graduates of the first selection are already working in responsible positions in the Far Eastern regions - they have become ministers and deputy ministers of regional governments, vice-rectors at universities and heads of development institutions. The competition for the second stream of the program was 60 people per place. There are currently 49 cadets undergoing training in the program.
