The forum in Blagoveshchensk discussed the creation of a consortium of universities for training pedagogical specialists

On December 20 and 21, the first Regional Pedagogical Forum "Teaching Personnel for the Far East: New Horizons" was held at the Blagoveshchensk State Pedagogical University (BSPU), which brought together representatives of universities in the Far East, Siberia and central Russia. The forum was attended by representatives of regional executive authorities, education development institutes, universities, secondary specialized educational institutions and schools. The forum was organized by BSPU as part of its participation in the strategic academic leadership program "Priority 2030. Far East". The event was held with the support of the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East, the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC) and the Russian Academy of Education. The forum became the first discussion platform in the Far East for exchanging best practices in teacher training, discussing tools for supporting teaching staff and identifying their development prospects in the regions of the Far East. The final documents of the forum, including recommendations and projects prepared by the participants, will form the basis for further development of the Education Development Strategy for the period up to 2036 with a perspective up to 2040.
