FEDC Executive Director for Social Development Hasan Hasanbalayev: “In accordance with the list of instructions of the President of the Russian Federation following the results of the Eastern Economic Forum 2022 in the Far East, in the period until 2030, at least 900 modern workshops should be created in regional technical schools and colleges to train personnel in key competencies. In 2023, 78 workshops were created in all subjects of the Far Eastern Federal District; 500.9 million rubles were allocated for these purposes from the funds of the Unified Presidential Subsidy. The initiative of the President of Russia is aimed at creating conditions for rapid and high-quality training of personnel in specialties that are strategically important for the Far Eastern Federal District. It is important that modern workshops are opened not only in large cities, regional centers, but also in remote areas, in northern colleges, which makes it possible to train specialists locally and quickly respond to personnel requests within the regions.”
