In the Far East, on the instructions of the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, a comprehensive model for the development of schools in hard-to-reach and remote areas is being developed

A meeting on improving the quality of education in hard-to-reach and remote areas was held in Khabarovsk as part of the district-level meeting on education development in the Far Eastern Federal District. The event, held at the K.D. Ushinsky Khabarovsk Regional Institute for Education Development, brought together representatives of the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East, the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC), federal and regional government agencies, and educational organizations.

Grigory Smolyak, Director of the Department of Social Development at the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East, and Tatyana Rastashanskaya, Deputy Director of the V.S. Lednev Institute for Teaching Content and Methods, delivered opening remarks and outlined the objectives of the event. Participants discussed the current state of the education system in remote areas, as well as approaches to developing a comprehensive development program.

A key element of the agenda was an analysis of the situation in rural and hard-to-reach schools in the Far East. Gasan Gasanbalaev, Deputy General Director for Social Development at the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation, presented a systemic assessment of infrastructure, personnel, and educational indicators, outlining the main challenges and areas for future work.
